HWPL's "Companion" Campaign:Connecting South Korea
HWPL is a non-governmental organization under the UN Economic and Social Council and the Department of Global Communications. The "Companion" campaign, planned by HWPL, is a nationwide campaign led by over 170 civic organizations in South Korea.
The campaign, "Companion: Connecting South Korea," got a foot in the door. There are three categories of this campaign.
Do you get in trouble for communicationg between the older and younger generations? A lack of communication leads to misunderstandings, which in turn cause conflicts. This campaign seeks to strengthen communication between them.
In Busan, the younger generation ran a one- day cafe and held a special exhibition to help the elderly living alone. The proceeds from these events were used to support them.
Have you heard of Generation MZ? In Daegu, the "MZ Talk Concert" was held. The theme of this talk concert is "M – Communicating with the Heart, Z – This Very Moment." Similar events were also held in Chungju, Chungbuk. d Jenbuk regularly.

This program focuses on social isolation and suicide and a various of issues that require everyone's attention. In Seoul and Gyeonggi Province, the campaign of titled "One and Only Precious Life, Precious Me" is being conducted.

We often see multicultural families around us. We have a campaing for them. This campaign aims to enhance understanding and inclusivity in a multicultural society. It provides support to immigrant women for a stable settlement in Korea and ensures that children provide un.
3. Bridging the Future
Every parent wants to turn over a better future to their children. This is why the campaign focuses on environmental protection and sustainability. In Gwangju, a campaing was held to save energy and promote the Carbon Neutral Point System. In Gyeonggi, a tection campaign is being launched for children with disabilities.
