From January 23 to 24, a wave of peace swept through Kawit and Pasay City to mark the 12th Anniversary of the January 24 HWPL Peace Day. This day is a living testament to how dialogue can silence guns that have fired for 40 years.

A Historic Milestone: January 24
To understand this day, we must look back to 2014. Through the mediation of Chairman ManHeeLee, a historic peace agreement was signed in Mindanao, ending four decades of conflict. Today, the Philippine government has legally designated this date as a commemorative day, ensuring that the legacy of WorldPeace is preserved for all.

Peace in Action: 6,000 Steps Toward Unity
In Kawit, we witnessed an incredible sight: 6,000 students and peace advocates marching together to Proclaim their desire for a world without war. At Aguinaldo Elementary School, a new HWPL Peace Monument was erected. This isn't just a stone structure; it is a promise from the local community to protect the coexistence we have worked so hard to achieve.

Building Bridges Through Education
Our mission doesn't stop at ceremonies. True peace is built in the classroom. During this anniversary, institutions like the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF-NCR) signed MOUs to bring the Religious Peace Academy (RPA) to their communities. With over 600 new graduates from the Youth Empowerment Peace Class (YEPC), we are training the leaders of tomorrow to lead a "peace revolution."
