The ‘Connect Korea Challenge’ (https://togetherconnectkorea.kr/) is gaining momentum as part of the Together: Connecting Korea campaign. ‘Connect Korea Challenge’ 

Participants from 243 cities across 72 countries contributed over 1,350 pieces of content in just 10 days. 

This campaign actively promotes free movement and international support for a peaceful unification. 

 

Hon. Carlos Rene Hernandez Castillo, President of the Central American Parliament, praised the initiative: 

“We firmly support all trials for unification and integration that promote peace, such as the dialogue for the reunification of the Koreas.” 

This global participation demonstrates the widespread international interest in a peaceful Korean unification.

The 9th Annual Commemoration of the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War (DPCW), held in Cheongju, South Korea is a meaningful turning point for Korean Peninsula unification.
During the event, the 'Preparatory Committee for Unity Framework for Peace”
This committee is a key one of the "Together: Connecting Korea" campaign, supported by around 170 civic groups.

HWPL Chairman Lee Man-hee emphasized the importance of free movement in achieving unification, stating:

Ven. Seok Yeonhwa, Chairman of the Supreme Patriarch of the World Buddhist Sangha Council, outlined future plans:

Today is March 1st, a meaningful day when our people declared independence against Korean colonial rule. However, after the Korean War, the Korean Peninsula was divided into two, and we still carry that pain in our hearts. 

HWPL has presentad the answer to ending war and realizing world peace. It is the 'DPCW 10 Articles and 38 Clauses.' This principle is the standard for peace that the entire world must adhere to, and it is a powerful force that allows us to practice

HWPL's "Companion" Campaign:Connecting South Korea  

HWPL is a non-governmental organization under the UN Economic and Social Council and the Department of Global Communications. The "Companion" campaign, planned by HWPL, is a nationwide campaign led by over 170 civic organizations in South Korea.  

The campaign, "Companion: Connecting South Korea," got a foot in the door. There are three categories of this campaign.

1. Bridging Generations 

Do you get in trouble for communicationg between the older and younger generations? A lack of communication leads to misunderstandings, which in turn cause conflicts. This campaign seeks to strengthen communication between them.

In Busan, the younger generation ran a one- day cafe and held a special exhibition to help the elderly living alone. The proceeds from these events were used to support them. 

 

Have you heard of Generation MZ? In Daegu, the "MZ Talk Concert" was held. The theme of this talk concert is "M – Communicating with the Heart, Z – This Very Moment." Similar events were also held in Chungju, Chungbuk. d Jenbuk regularly.  

All that we have a peaceful life is because that we have a lot of war veterans who dedicated themselves to our country. To honor them, various activities are being held: historical and cultural tours and peace concerts in Busan, love-filled meal-sharal love

This program focuses on social isolation and suicide and a various of issues that require everyone's attention. In Seoul and Gyeonggi Province, the campaign of titled "One and Only Precious Life, Precious Me" is being conducted.

2. Bridging Cultures  

We often see multicultural families around us. We have a campaing for them. This campaign aims to enhance understanding and inclusivity in a multicultural society. It provides support to immigrant women for a stable settlement in Korea and ensures that children provide un.  

3. Bridging the Future  

Every parent wants to turn over a better future to their children. This is why the campaign focuses on environmental protection and sustainability. In Gwangju, a campaing was held to save energy and promote the Carbon Neutral Point System. In Gyeonggi, a tection campaign is being launched for children with disabilities.  

Do you remember the Saemaul Movement? It played a key role in South Korea's economic development and modernization. The "Companion" campaign shares a similar spirit—it is a nationwide movement led by citizens. If the whole nation comes together, we

1. seeds of peace

The Heavenly Culture, World Peace Restoration of Light (HWPL) and the International Peace Youth Group (IPYG) which are globally recognized private peace organizations carry out various activities to sow the seeds of peace. They collaborate with the youth around the world to implemented educa Hee Lee has been dedicated to realizing humanity's desire for peace through his peace activities over the past decade.

2. Peace building with Youth  

The IPYG UK branch is engaged in various activities aimed at resolving the primary causes of refugee issues and war. importance of youth participation, stating, "The power to change history does not lie solely in nations or authorities." These active participants by young people play a significant role in spreading a culture of peace within their communities.

3. Intergenerational conversation and Awareness Raising  

HWPL and IPYG have contributed to raising community awareness by hosting intergenerational conversation on Gender-Based Violence(GBV) in Botswana. Chairman Man Hee Lee remarked, "Peace can be perceived differently based on individual experiences, and ongoing efforts are nese ving the issue of gender-based violence.

4. HWPL's 10th Anniversary Celebration  

In May, HWPL held various events to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the declaration of the World Peace Declaration. Chairman Man Hee Lee highlighted that "many changes have been brought about since declaring the intention to achieve peace ten yearsill, tainable peace building in the future.
