’Ignobel Prize,’ a parody of the Nobel Prize

Another IgNobel Prize is the Nobel Prize Parody Award, which was established in 1991 by Harvard University’s humorous science magazine, The Annals of Improble Research.

The Ignobel Prize came from Ignoble, which means "not decent," which is the opposite of Nobel, which means "decent".  So  you can find  that it  parodies the Nobel Prize.

The qualification of the award is ‘that cannot, or should not, be repeated’ and those who join this contest is subject to be awarded.

The awards based on the six Nobel Prizes (physics, chemistry, medicine, literature, peace, economics) are added to biology, at the award ceremony, an additional award is  added.
The award ceremony takes place at Harvard University's Sanders theater one or two weeks before the Nobel Prize winners are announced every October.

which began in 1991, is bizarre and interesting to the general public, but in some cases it is meaningful.  Now, I would like to introduce you to a total of 10 award-winning works that were the most impressive among the Ignobel laureates of all time  I hope you'll look at it and find out what it means.

1. 1993 Medical Prize - James F. Nolan and 2 others
Writing a paper on how to deal with the medical condition when the penis gets stuck in the zipper of trousers

Development of a technology that when rubbing  magazines with scent put into microcapsules gives  a scent in it.

3. 1995 Chemical Award - Byzan Parkzad (Bijan Pakzad)
Development of Customized DNA Perfume Based on Personal DNA Analysis
After the cells in your mouth were wiped with a cotton swab, you created a scented perfume that best matches the DNA extracted from the cotton swab, and gained huge popularity among Hollywood stars.

4. 2003 Business Administration - Karl Schwärzler and Liechtenstein
Carl Schubertler, the manager of the company, rented the entire Liechtenstein, a country (Community), and held a tour event. This proves that it is possible to rent a whole country and hold an event.

5. Chemistry Award 2004 - British Coca Cola Branch
The launch of Dasani, which uses NASA's technology to turn the Thames water into bottled water.

6. 2009 Veterinary Medicine Awards - Catherine Douglas and Peter Rowelson

It said that it collected the combustion results obtained by detonating the gunpowder of the bullet and obtained the diamond nanoparticles.

8. 2015 Chemistry Award - Professor Colin Raston of Flinders University, Australia
The invention of a vortex fluid system that turns boiled eggs back into raw eggs.
Boiled eggs / raw eggs are examples of demonstration of technology, in which denatured or twisted proteins are easily released physically without chemical treatment and then returned to their original form.

9. 2017 Physics Prize - Marc-Antoine Fardin
Proof of ‘cat liquid theory’ that cats are solid and liquid at the same time.

10. Fluid Dynamics Award 2017 - Han Ji-won
10. Prove the principle of fluid movement as studying the shaking of coffee depending on the shape of the cup when walking with a cup of coffee
Fluid movement is caused by resonant vibrations, and if you hold the top part of the cup , the number of vibrations will decrease, so the coffee will not overflow, and the coffee in the cup of wine will not overflow.
