[HWPL] Romanian Youth Delegation Conducts Peace Exchange Program in South Korea
A youth delegation from the Romanian organization MasterPeace visited South Korea for a 4-night, 5-day cultural and peace exchange program from November 8 to 12. The program was organized through cooperation between MasterPeace, HWPL, and IPYG to strengthen international youth netwo.
Background and Development
MasterPeace is a Romania-based organization focused on local culture-based peace initiatives. This visit followed a virtual meeting held in June. An HWPL representative stated that the program originated from the voluntary participation of youth organizations and is intended to serve as a model for cultural and peace exchange.

Main Activities
The delegation visited Seoul and Incheon to engage in the following activities:
Cultural Experience: Visits to Gyeongbokgung Palace and Insadong.
Youth Exchange: A Korea–Romania Youth Cultural Exchange Session at Inha University involving discussions on peace and culture.
Strategic Workshop: A session with IPYG to analyze Romanian peace activity factors, including media, public opinion, government policy, and civic awareness.

Future Cooperation
IPYG and MasterPeace agreed to establish a Youth Empowerment Working Group (YEWG) as a collaboration model. The agreement includes:
Quarterly Meetings: Holding working group sessions four times per year.
Network Expansion: Expanding exchanges with youth organizations from other regions.

Participant Statements
Bratu Catinca (MasterPeace): Expressed the intent to continue active cooperation based on the experiences gained in Korea.
Alesia Marin (MasterPeace): Stated plans to share the program experiences with colleagues in Romania to strengthen cooperation with IPYG.
HWPL and IPYG have announced plans to continue connecting with youth organizations in other global regions.
